Byron Bay Mother Sara Connor won’t Appeal Bali Jail Sentence Australian woman Sara Connor has told her lawyers she will not appeal against her four-year sentence for her role in the death of a Bali police officer. Speaking to reporters after meeting Connor outside Kerobokan jail, her lawyer Robert Khuana said he had told Connor that if she appealed she would have a good chance of being released on the basis that the initial decision was “too shallow”. Saudi King Begins 5-Day Visit to Bali On schedule at 5:45 pm on Saturday, March 4, 2017, the Boeing 747 used by the Saudi Arabian King Salman bin AbdulazizAl-Saud landed at Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport at the  beginning of a 5-day holiday. Judge Declines to Give Grandmother Custody of Heather Mack’s Girl A Cook County judge declined to rule Friday on whether the paternal grandmother of Heather Mack’s child could get custody of the girl, who is soon turning 2. Bali Bomb Squad Defuses Low Explosive Device Left in Local Café The Bali Police Bomb Squad was summoned on Tuesday, December 21, 2016, to Jalan Raya Banjar, Ubud when a backpack bearing a label saying “Bomb” was left in a local restaurant. The backpack was isolated, examined and neutralized by bomb technicians who found the bag contained low explosives in the form of fireworks. Kiwi Woman Killed when Contiki Minivan Crashed off a Cliff in Lombok Grieving family have flown to Indonesia to bring home the body of a young Kiwi          woman killed when a Contiki minivan crashed off a cliff. Danielle Angus, 23, was one of seven people travelling to a surf beach in South Lombok. Two other New Zealanders, an Australian, two Americans and the driver were also in the van. Perth Toddler Drowns in Backyard Pool at Mother’s Villa in Bali A baby girl from Australia has tragically drowned in a swimming pool at her parent’s Bali villa. The 18-month-old is believed to have wandered out of the villa and fallen into the pool this week and could not be revived. The baby, Cinta Amora Gurney, lived at the villa in Canggu with her Indonesian mother Stella Lorenzia Pjandiawan and her father, Adam Gurney, who is from Perth.
